Use Meditation To Clear Creative Blockage

Meditation is a great and effective way to creatively open yourself up.  One way to create more effective and realistic scenes in your novels is to learn how to be in the present moment.  Many great novelists have talked about this in the past, such as Natalie Goldberg, author of the book “Writing Down the Bones“.

Be In The Moment

When you learn how to add meditation into your daily routine, one finds there is much be accessed within the moment.  You can hear the wind blowing, the sounds of people, the smell of a new car, and all the other glorious things that make life so amazing.

For the last two months, I have consistently been able to incorporate meditation into my life, and it has made a lot of differences.  For one, this sort of exercise deep into your subconscious will help you achieve you authentic self, and makes you more comfortable with your own feelings.

No one likes a book without plot, and if you are afraid to experience plot, you will never understand the true nature of it.  By opening up your chakras, you are able to connect with the world better.  Thus, becoming a better writer.

This website has the greatest podcasts you will ever hear for guided meditation.  Mary Maddox’s voice is like an angel speaking to you in a dream.  She even has a meditation to enhance your creativity.

The Scientific Benefits of Meditation

Many studies have revealed that meditating everyday will lower your stress and even ease your mind.  People who meditate everyday are less prone to depression and even experience longer lives.
